Job Description

• Play an active role in the following aspects: Java Spring Boot Frameworks web application development; maintenance and support of current projects
• Customizing and maintaining existing web and mobile applications
• To work closely with the project team in the areas of design, requirement gathering, implementation, coding and testing.
• To ensure all source codes are bug free, optimized, written and documented in compliance to company’s standard.
• To ensure timely project delivery.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 3 years working experience as Java Programmer in building web applications
• Hands-on experience in object-oriented language/frameworks (J2EE, Spring, Kotlin), MySQL and Web technologies (HTTP, JSON & RESTful API)
• Good working attitude and able to demonstrates flexibility in day-to-day work.
• MUST have knowledge in Java (JDK 1.7 and above) especially in JEE (JEE2 and above) technological stack
• MUST have knowledge in using Source Control system (SVN, GIT)
• MUST be familiar with using project management and build tools such as Apache Maven, Apache Ant,
• MUST have experience with using modern Java IDE for development such as Eclipse IDE, NetBeans IDE
• MUST have experience with Java EE application servers such as JBoss, Apache Tomcat, NGINX
• MUST have experience in using RDBMS (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server)
• Must be able to work independently, cognizant of delivery timelines and have a professional attitude and conduct
• Knowledge of rich client development using React.js, AngularJS and NodeJS
• Knowledge of AWS cloud
