Job Description

• Research, write and edit engaging and share-worthy content to support our marketing campaigns on Facebook, Email, and other marketing channels. 
• Be updated with the latest and trending news locally and internationally. 
• Proofread final draft of content and edit copy to ensure the content is ready for publishing. 
• Be sharp and ready to write potentially trending stories as it happens. 
• Source for stories through social media, other news portal or forums. Stories can also be from personal experience, a public opinion, a status update or uniquely written (based on references). 
• Source or create relevant images to be included within articles and ensuring featured images are captivating enough to capture the audience attention. 
• Perform any other related copywriting tasks as assigned by the Company. 

Job Requirements

• Candidate must currently be pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Media, Mass Communications, Language/Linguistic or equivalent. 
• Must be a gossip lovers and up-to-date about the entertainment scene. 
• Must be a social media addict and internet savvy. 
• Has all three social media accounts, i.e Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. 
• Passionate, creative, great story teller, understands local pop culture. 
• Honest, hard-working and a team player. 
• Flexible and open minded. 
• You must also have an excellent command in spoken and written English and any added language (Mandarin) is a plus.
