This role will be located in the Penang, Malaysia office and reports into the Marketing VP of APAC. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a track record of success in delivering Marketing results within a fast paced & highly competitive B to B environment. This is a great opportunity for an innovative & energetic field marketer to effectively design marketing plan, execute plan, achieve result for driving lead generation in IPG area and working closely with sales
Key Responsibilities : Reporting to the VP of Asia PAC Marketing, you will be responsible for the following:
- Design annual marketing plan (including quarterly, monthly) to drive marketing lead generation
- Working very closely and Supporting IPG sales organization in SEA (South East Asia) in achieving its short, medium and long-term sales goals (New business, renewal)
- Collaborates with global IPG marketing and APAC marketing leadership team to rollout Global programs to the region
- Leads the way on digital marketing programs that leverage global capabilities/resources and deliver according to local requirements
- Working together with Inside sales leaders for the region to optimize lead follow up structure
- Builds out the collaboration model with local and central Sales and Marketing teams, as well as being the lead for the overarching regional programs
- Manages the overall regional budget and regional programs and events
- Works with Sales to identify suitable accounts for inclusion into an ABM program
- Leads the way with overarching regional campaigns concept and execution
- Assume responsibility to establish & maintain a consistent effective communication & coordination with external sales leaders & field sales team
- Develop collaborative partnerships across the organization include Marketing, Business Systems, Order Management, Sales Operations, and other support teams to ensure successful implementation of programs
Job Requirements
- Marketing professional with a minimum of 3-5 years commercial B2B marketing experience
- Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and sales
- Strong, tested experience working within a global organization with a track record of managing a global marketing team
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced corporate environment leading global teams
- Bachelor level degree or professional qualification in marketing or related subject
- Language Proficiency - Excellent in both English & local language of the assigned geographical market in verbal/written skills, preferably also equipped with good presentation skills
- Persistent and motivated to overachieve against target
- Great organization and time management skills
- General knowledge and understanding of utilizing SFDC
- The ability to establish & cultivate strong internal & customer focused relationships and work seamlessly within a matrix managed environment
- Desire to excel in a leadership role and work in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of marketing experience in Patent data (IPG) related industry
- Previous experience related to patent intelligence is a plus
- Experience working with end customers and local resellers & distributors
- Fluency in both written & spoken English and local native language
- Curious, flexible and competitive
- Enthusiastic and energetic self-starter
- Ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment
- Proficiency in MS Teams, Salesforce.com, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications is preferred
- Call center / telemarketing / Inside sales related experience would be a plus
