Job Description
· Draft and negotiate terms and conditions for order forms, software licenses, SAAS licenses, professional service agreements, master services agreements, statements of work and non-disclosure agreements for Clarivate’s products and/or services according to department and corporate Legal guidelines.
· Actively lead and manage resolution of contractual inquiries as the main contact for customer contract-related requests and issues, consulting with subject matter experts such as Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Sales, Product or IT as needed.
· Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with contract-related inquiries and contributing to the finalization of the sales cycle.
· Mitigate risk and support sales cycle through development of improved and optimal processes and policy guidelines for effective contract management.
· Maintain global agreements databases ensuring appropriate documentation is signed and necessary approvals obtained in compliance with risk policy and internal controls in conjunction with Sarbanes Oxley and local statutory requirements.
· Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of digital CLM, contract systems, CRM systems, contract databases and other related systems.
· Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal and other internal teams to drive projects and ensure extraordinary customer experience.
Job Requirements
· Bachelors/University level degree with 2-5 years’ experience in contracting operations required. Training or education in law, paralegal skills, negotiation, or legal writing, including IAACM or similar certification, desirable.
· Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills, negotiation skills coupled with exceptional written/verbal communication abilities and attention to detail.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage numerous tasks quickly, accurately, and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under deadline pressure.
· Adaptable to our ever-changing business and eager to learn.
· Good knowledge of sales processes, contract management, and basic legal knowledge.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships with above-average customer service.
· Technical: Must be adept in use of MS Office - particularly advanced skills in Excel, Power Point, SharePoint; internet and email; order processing systems, and CRM/CLM tools such as Salesforce or Apttus.
