5 Key responsibilities
· Pre-edit Simplified and Traditional Chinese publications of regulatory information document prior to Machine Assisted Translation (MAT).
· Edit and correct MAT output to ensure it meets a level of quality negotiated in advance within the expected timeline.
· Analyze quality checks of the MAT output to drive continuous quality enhancement by updating translation memory and master dictionaries.
· Drive resolutions of a broad range of problems related to the MAT quality
· Provide analysis and suggestions for process as part of daily role or through participation in project teams to allow for MT improvement and/or source content optimization
Job Description:
The Content Specialist of Chinese Regulatory Information will contribute to the CRI content production of the regulatory information, and will have primary responsibility for the delivery of English translation of the Chinese regulatory documents. You will process pre and post-editing of translation from Chinese both in Simplified and Traditional Chinse to English by using Machine Assisted Translation (MAT) tool and Support effective management and champion for continuous improvement of our quality driven operational workflow.
The Cortellis Regulatory IntelligenceTM (CRI) provides comprehensive, global, and expertly-analyzed information that spans all regulatory functions across the R&D lifecycle. You will play an essential role in supporting CRI data integrity of the Chinese information for fulfilling the customer needs.
The role will be developed to cover all data quality related functions in the Linguistic related projects across the organisation
Job Requirements
Key competencies for the good candidates.
· Have excellent reading skill of Simplified and Traditional Chinese and excellent reading, spoken and written English.
· Have a Pharmaceutical, Chemistry or Bioscience related degree.
· Have translation qualification/work experience in the pharmaceutical domain
· Effective time management and organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and achieve deadlines and targets.
