Job Scope:
(i) Create and tailor direct response marketing strategies for new ecommerce clients
(ii) Audit, analyze and optimize our direct response marketing strategies for existing clients on an ongoing basis
(iii) Consult and provide solutions to marketing strategy related questions to both clients and employees alike
(iv) Help create/refine internal guides and processes to improve our overall direct response marketing strategy
(v) Provide updates and answers to any client related questions (involve getting on calls with clients in different timezones all over the world)
(vi) Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and drive innovation in our direct response marketing strategy
Job Description:
As the lead strategist, your main role is to ensure that we deliver maximum results for our clients. You will strategize, and the fulfilment team will execute (the fulfilment team consists of copywriters, graphic designers and a team manager).
For example, you will help provide guidance to the fulfilment team to the branding aspect of the emails, which includes the email designs and marketing tone. You will also chart out meaningful split tests (eg: how much discount to give and email subject line test) and guide the fulfilment team on how to execute it.
Our clients are all on retainer. We craft email campaigns weekly and optimize email automations. For custom manual campaigns, you’ll guide the fulfilment team on the type of content to create and schedule based on past results, your judgement, and secondary research. For marketing automations, your main objective is optimization. You’ll be monitoring our marketing automations on an ongoing basis and provide the fulfilment team on specific actionables to improve the revenue generated from these automations.
Team Managers will report to you. Each Team Managers leads a team of Ecommerce Marketing Executives and graphic designers. You will provide strategic direction to the Team Managers, while empowering them to make the right decisions on their own.
- You are expected to get on calls with some of our clients for strategy updates or discussions.
- You must have a constant thirst for knowledge and be actively upgrading yourself in direct response marketing strategies. You will also be a champion of professional/personal development for the company.
- You may have the opportunity to attend conferences and training workshops around the world to upgrade your skillset.
- You will report directly to the COO (Strategy Director) of Chronos Agency.
Work Environment & Location
You will be part of our pioneering team in Kuala Lumpur. You must be living in KL to be considered this role. Alternatively, you must be willing to travel to our office every day or relocate to somewhere near.
Our office is located at WeWork KL, Equatorial Plaza. We have an 11-pax private office suite.
