Job Description

• Act as an ambassador of CapitalBay’s vision, value proposition, and brand
• Drive the Accredited and Retail Investors growth pipeline 
• Be a product expert to educate investors on the intricacies of the CapitalBay asset
• Ensure that the different facility types on platform are funded by investors with the right risk appetite
• Reconcile and troubleshoot investor capital balances and cash flows
• Engage with investors via inbound, outbound calls and email correspondence to help onboard new potential investors to the CapitalBay platform and introduce them to various investment opportunities
• Set up investor database and create basic reporting for investors as and when required
• Plan for future capital requirements according to business’ sales forecast
• Assist with ad-hoc marketing activities targeted at raising funds from investors
• Identify and develop business cases for strategic growth opportunities and operational improvements 
• Navigate various internal systems in order to execute all service requests
• Suggest day to day operational improvements and work on ad hoc projects

Job Requirements

• 2-7 years of service experience in unit trust / wealth management / investor relations, especially consumer facing financial and technology services
• Proven experience in growing user base
• Strong knowledge of financial products and terminology
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with various stakeholder groups
• Proactive “hunter” mindset 
• Ability to work independently in an organized manner and able to cope with a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using a technology rich user interface
• Willingness to travel for work
• Advantage if you have:
  • Personal network of retail and/or accredited investors for investor pipeline
  • Business proficiency in one other Southeast Asian language
