About The Job

Brighttail is a growing B2B marketing agency looking for a passionate Marketing Automation Specialist to join our world-class digital team. The ideal candidate is creative, results-driven, and possesses excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring email and marketing automation campaigns across all digital networks for our portfolio of high-tech B2B clients. You should be a self-starter who is passionate about growing our clients' businesses, as well as your own career.

  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Automation Lead and other teams (design, content, web, and digital) to meet client objectives by architecting complex automation solutions leveraging marketing softwares, including but not limited to ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Zapier, etc.
  • Design and implement nurture streams to welcome and follow-up with new customers, re-engage existing contacts to improve customer experience and contribute to B2B sales & marketing campaigns. 
  • Write attention-grabbing email copy and design beautiful emails according to B2B industry best practices.
  • Implement and maintain a lead scoring model to enable the prioritization of inbound leads and develop a better understanding of lead quality.
  • Configure, integrate, and implement ActiveCampaign, Zapier, and/or any other tools to achieve client objectives.
  • Implement and support complex front-end technology questions regarding HTML emails, landing pages, registration forms from templates while incorporating industry best practices.
  • Manage customer data for email marketing activities including segmentation and reporting, testing, cleaning, and optimization.
  • Advise clients on email strategies and plans to implement and nurture email marketing best practices.
  • Develop and execute testing and optimization efforts to improve email and campaign performance.
  • Stay on top of industry knowledge, best practices, and trends.

  • 2 years' experience working with ActiveCampaign or other email marketing and/or sales automation platforms such as Hubspot, Mailchimp, GetResponse, CampaignMonitor, Marketo, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.
  • Strong interest and/or prior experience in the high-tech B2B industry.
  • Familiarity with agile methodology and practice is a plus! 
  • Experience with the lead generation and nurturing process. Candidate has a thorough understanding of the digital marketing campaign process, from planning to execution, and where marketing automation sits within this process.
  • Hands-on experience with writing, creating, and designing email campaigns using email builders or manually coding using HTML.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience in solving complex problems.
  • Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, agile-driven environment, highly collaborative, and is a strong team player. 
  • Able to work with multiple clients and adapt to different product portfolios within different industries to meet business objectives.
  • Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects, and possesses strong documentation and presentation skills. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical disciplines.
