Job Description
This position requires you to be the team’s lead in social media planning, strategy and community management. This means you're passionate about dedicating a large part of your working hours into optimising workflows, processes, reporting and problem solving on the go. You're also quick to experiment, pilot new tools, platforms and content format. The ability to execute flawlessly is the secret ingredient to success in this role. In this role, you will be required to demonstrate thorough knowledge, passion, commitment, and expertise on the following. This is not the exhaustive list of your responsibilities but the most important ones include:
- Ensure that all content generated by the team is up to or exceeds the expectations of the client.
- Be a brand champion for clients by helping to define their brand voice and imagery to drive brand consistency with every piece of content (copy, animation, image or video).
- Brainstorm ideas and concepts for the visuals and copies with the social media team.
- Identify and advocate storytelling opportunities on owned, earned, paid and new media platforms beyond the primary channels of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Wechat, Line and Youtube.
- Oversee the content production phase by working closely together with designers and copywriters, ensuring that content is fresh, relevant, on-brief and on-strategy.
- Day-to-day social media management inclusive of creating and publishing contents on clients’ social media channels, monitoring and responding to comments and messages, and monthly reporting of all social media activities.
- Understand consumer behaviour and brand positioning across several markets and counsel local teams to execute campaigns in an efficient and grounded way that consumers would engage and understand.
- Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, formats.
- You are expected to have expertise in understanding how digital channels work, how consumers behave and use the channels, and the social context brands operate
- Lead social media team members by taking ownership of the growth and development of every individual in your team.
- Develop workflows, reporting templates and insights for monthly reviewing of campaign reports to gauge the effectiveness of the content and/or campaign ran for the clients.
- Ability to present persuasively and confidently to internal and external stakeholders.
