Job Description
- Drive to write accurate, precise copy that serves our luxury online customers as well as our heritage and artisanal vendors & follows our house style
- Work hands-on with products, transferring garment details accurately to template format adhering to brand style while elevating product content
- Handle heavy copy flow, partnering with copyediting, merchandising, styling, photography, buying and inventory teams to ensure accurate product copy is posted in a timely manner
- Research products and designers to uncover benefit-focused product details translating information into content rich copy
- Work in a CMS, HTML editor, and for some off-site shoots, MS Excel
- Possess an online portfolio of product copy samples - fashion blogging / editorial a plus
- Attention to detail, competence at juggling multiple projects and ability to stay focused and meet tight deadlines
Job Requirements
- Degree in English, communications, fashion merchandising or equivalent work experience
- At least 3 - 4 years experience writing e-Commerce product copy
- Experience with industry terminology and the luxury landscape
- Strong command of English language, grammar, spelling and usage
- Proficiency with CMS, HTML editor, MS Excel and other digital programs
