Job Description

• Perform floral arrangement according to production schedules.
• Plan arrangement according to company quality standards and client's requirements.
• Maintain inventories of materials, equipment and products.
• Assessing project and resource requirements.
• Determining quality control and standards for each product arrangement.
• Perform office and retail service duties such as keeping invoices records, serving customers if necessary.
• Decorate or supervise the decoration of buildings, halls, churches, or other facilities for parties, weddings and other occasions.
• Conduct classes or demonstrations on event site.
• Create and change in-store and window displays, designs, and looks to enhance a shop's image.
• Water plants, and cut, condition, and clean flowers and foliage for storage.
• Unpack stock as it comes into the shop.
• Perform general cleaning duties in the store to ensure the shop is clean and tidy.
• Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee.

Job Requirements

1. No prior experience in floristry necessary although experience is preferred
2. Have a love of flowers and people
3. Have a strong sense of urgency, responsibility, focus and discipline
