Would you like to be part of a social impact, and have a fully immersive experience of working in a growing start-up? To be part of our Mereka platform team, we are looking for a dynamic UI/UX Design intern to ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design for our brand.

We are a young and ambitious team that aims to inspire community-driven action by leveraging the power of innovative problem-solving, creativity, and technology. As part of this team, we are on the hunt for a self-motivated superhero, with an appetite for taking on real responsibility to assist in growing the business and extending our impact.

The ideal candidate should be able to perform the following:

Design versatile user interfaces, with a focus on digital interfaces.
Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for our brand,
Producing and conceptualize web designs, sitemaps, user journeys, wireframes, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces,
Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
Collaborating with our marketing team, content creators, and graphic designers to ensure the creation and delivery of the best experiences for our digital users.

Allowance starts from RM800.

Job Requirements

Degree or Master’s in Visual Design, Multimedia, Graphic Design or other related fields,
Demonstrate a compelling portfolio of design work (compulsory).
Proficient in web design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, and/or other relative tools to design for digital interfaces,
Familiar with Webflow and Figma and Adobe software - Illustrator, Photoshop,
A collaborative nature, deep attention to detail, and a meticulous dedication to the proper delivery
Possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Great at effectively dealing with ad-hoc challenges, keep calm in pressing situations, be flexible with last-minute changes, and still have a positive attitude throughout.
