Salary Range: RM 1,000 to RM 2,000

Are you interested in taking human-interest photographs? Are you talented in capturing moments showcasing actions, interactions, emotions, and atmosphere/mood? Are you able to use creativity to take fresh shots of similar contexts (education, classes, student participation, pitching, etc) to capture the attention of our audience (participants, potential clients, and partners)?

We are looking for photographers to capture meaningful moments from our impact programs, for publication on our website, blogs, media, and other advertising materials.  The ideal candidate should be able to curate and pre-plan shots/storyline and deliver versatile and variety of shots, while being comfortable with being in events-based settings, commanding the room, and approaching individuals if needed.

Job Description

The ideal candidate should be able to perform the following:-
  • Carry out research, pre-production, and preparation for shooting/campaigns.
  • Work with the Communications Coordinator, Project Managers, Project Teams, clients, and partners to deliver photos that fit client project deliverables and Biji-biji/Me.reka branding requirements.
  • Able to work with people with various age groups and demographics.
  • Able to encourage and direct people as necessary, commanding the room if need be .
  • Able to take photos in a wide variety of locations and the ability to work well with varying light conditions.
  • Able to utilize various photography techniques and editing methods to enhance images.
  • Able to edit and apply pre-determined filters to the photos.
  • Attend project events as necessary for on-site photography.
  • Upload photography content to the company database and tag accordingly
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements


  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in Photography, Editorial, Advertising, or any related field is required for this position
  • Experience with Print Media, Entertainment, Advertising, and Event Photography preferred
  • Portfolio showcasing previous work
  • Possess reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Able to work flexible hours
