Jack of all trades, especially when it comes to marketing and communications? We're looking for an enthusiastic individual that's a master of a variety of marketing and communications skills - ranging from graphic design, illustrations, web design, web development, copywriting, proofreading, photography, videography, social media management, digital marketing, etc. You don't have to be a master of all - but you shall have a basic understanding of how various medium works. We run a variety of internal and client projects focused on delivering impactful education programs to youths. Each project comes with its unique project communication needs you will be assisting with - hence the search for versatility in skills.

The ideal candidate should be able to perform the following:

Assist in developing creatives and content for project communications materials such as slide decks, landing pages, press releases, blog posts, social media copies, graphic designs, illustrations, photography, and videography
Assist with curating, scheduling, and posting of project communications materials on social media
Assist with proofreading and copywriting for project-based communications materials
Assist project leads to develop and implement project communications strategy as per their client deliverables and as per Me.reka marketing goals
Assist project leads to develop and implement digital marketing campaigns as per their project requirements, and as per Me.reka marketing goals
Assist in upholding the Me.reka brand and its voice in all projects, while ensuring quality and consistency throughout
Assist to direct in-house and external graphic designers, photographers, videographers, copywriters, web designers, web developers, and other marketing and communication freelancers integral to the completion of projects
Work closely with group marketing and communications teams, project teams, and freelancers

Job Requirements

Excellent proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in English and Malay is a must
Mandarin, Tamil, and any other Malaysian languages/dialects will be an asset
Excellent proofreading and copywriting skills
Design eye and skills are needed
Problem-solving skills would be an asset
People skills are crucial as you will be liaising with multiple stakeholders for multiple projects at once
Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
