Job Description

  • As our business management intern, you will be working closely together with a multiracial, multinational disruptive group of passionate youths working on various projects.

  • You will see and learn how social enterprises are run; how various business units are managed, and be part of the backbone that holds all our four different business units together

  • You will be part of a very small and proactive team. Hence, you will have in-depth exposure to everything we do and have a fully immersive experience of working in a growing start-up.

Your responsibilities include assisting project managers, human resources, finance and administration, grants and funding applications, and et cetera. If you are up to learn and be ready to expand your experiences, this internship will fulfill your quest for exciting learning experiences.

We are organised so that we can meet deadlines; detailed so that we meet all requirements and work efficiently; great writers and communicators so that we can solve problems and untangle complicated procedures. Importantly, we remain patient and stress-resistant to make sure we still have fun too!

Job Requirements

  • Interested and passion to learn behind the scenes of a for-profit social enterprise
  • Background: Business Studies, Business Admin, Management, Finance or any related field
  • Proficient computer skills (G-Suite)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a small team and with deadline
  • Personality: attention-to-detail, people-person, passion for sustainability and education, curious, enthusiastic, passion for the mission and vision of the organization

Effectively deal with ad-hoc challenges, keep calm in pressing situations, be flexible with last-minute changes, and still have a positive attitude throughout :) 

We operate mainly in Me.reka, Publika, KL. This role may require you to be working on the occasional weekends, depending on your supervisor’s advice and project needs.
