Job Description

  • Grow and expand BigPay’s social media presence on existing platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.
  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, messaging and audience identification. 
  • Lead social content calendar – includes content planning, ideation, execution, implementation, and community building. 
  • Continuously improve all social strategies by tracking follower engagement metrics, insights and best practices across channels and reporting back monthly. 
  • Create and craft highly engaging narratives and content that reflects BigPay’s tone of voice and resonates with the Malaysia and Singapore audiences – experimenting across diverse and emerging content formats 
  • Ensures social media campaigns and content support BigPay’s brand/marketing and business strategy by working cross functionally with the wider marketing team (product marketing, content/blog, partnerships) and product and customer experience teams. 
  • Provides training and guidance to social media and marketing team members on social media implementation best practices and strategies
  • Define Social KPIs and develop a plan to measure and optimise performance
  • Collaborate with other departments (Customer Experience/Product) to manage reputation, identify key messaging, and coordinate feedback to coordinate actions plans.


Job Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in social media, marketing, and community building.
  • Strong conceptualising and copywriting skills and strong eye for detail and design. Experience partnering with designers to provide creative/art direction.
  • Natural ability to hold engaging conversations with online communities across social platforms.
  • Experience with social analytics/listening tools and content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major social media platforms. 
  • Experience working with the technology / finance sector. Interest in personal finance will be a plus.
  • Comfortable working in high growth, sometimes ambiguous environments
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative, judgment and resourcefulness. Ability to adapt quickly to change.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
