Job Description

Trainees for this role will commit themselves to an extensive and rigorous 6 months training to prepare themselves to join venture-building teams that are capable of launching the next up-and-coming tech venture. You will be expected to proactively self-learn and seek the advice of senior product development mentors, learn techniques to overcome technical challenges, and gain the expertise required to consult and build fast-growing Tech Products for new ventures as either a Frontend, Backend, or Mobile Developer. Outstanding candidates will be converted to full-time at the end of the program.

Frontend:

Assist developers in performing data transformation and displaying of data, HTML changes, and feature modifications
Create and debug various web applications
Write codes for sites using programming languages with HTML, CSS, JavaScript with React
Work with team members and project managers to plan and accomplish weekly agile development
Translate designs from wireframes into working prototypes and applications

Backend:

Create and maintain API applications and endpoints
Plan and create database structures to fit business requirements
Write scalable and clean codes that fit business logic and requirements using languages such as JavaScript with NodeJS or PHP
Work with team members and project managers to plan and accomplish weekly agile development

Mobile:

Develop new features, maintenance, and bug fixes of mobile applications with React Native
Work with native mobile application codes (Java/Swift) whenever native integration is needed
Understand mobile app architecture and lifecycle methods to further optimize application performance
Work with team members and project managers to plan and accomplish weekly agile development
Translate designs from wireframes into working prototypes and applications

Job Requirements

Frontend:

A recognized Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Computing, Computer Science or equivalent
Fresh grads are welcome to apply
Basic knowledge of JS application frameworks
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
Basic knowledge of databases and SQL (i.e. MYSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Experience with a ReactJS framework would be an added advantage
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
A team player with a positive attitude and professional work-ethic
A self-motivated individual who can function independently if needed

Backend:

A recognized Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Computing, Computer Science or equivalent
Fresh grads are welcome to apply
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of databases and SQL (i.e. MYSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Experience with a NodeJs or PHP framework would be an added advantage
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
A team player with a positive attitude and professional work-ethic
A self-motivated individual who can function independently if needed

Mobile:

A recognized Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Computing, Computer Science or equivalent
Fresh grads are welcome to apply
Basic knowledge in building mobile apps using at least one mobile language (Swift, Java, Objective-C, etc.). Experience in multiple platforms is a plus
Experience with a React Native framework would be an added advantage
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
A team player with a positive attitude and professional work-ethic
A self-motivated individual who can function independently if needed
