Job Description
- Liaison with Customs & Dagang-net related to shipping arrangement.
- Efficient coordination with Customers / Transporter / Freight Forwarders.
- Ensures compliance to Regulatory, Security, Safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Good planning routes and load scheduling for multiple deliveries.
- Ensure the achievement of KPI relating to shipping operation.
- Monitor the quality, cost and efficiency of shipping operation.
- Ensure teamwork and build good rapport with colleagues and cooperate with other departments to ensure the quality of services.
- Ensure high standard of housekeeping and orderliness accordance to 5S principle.
- Require to follow and support to any instruction or company regulation from time to time.
- Ensure proper documentations in place for traceability of product flows within the shipping activities.
- Guiding and motivating subordinates to achieve high degree of efficiency and accuracy in shipping arrangement and liaison with Customs.
- Prepare weekly/ monthly reports for submission to superior.
- Ad-hoc tasks designated by Superior / Management.
Job Requirements
- Possess at least Diploma or higher in any fields.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in Logistic / Shipping department.
- Well verse in shipping documents and HS code.
- Having certification of "Kursus Ejen Kastam (KEK) Eksekutif".
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Good level of written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Computer literate & internet savvy.
- Knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel is essential.
