Job Description
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with Marketing and Design team on a formal, informal, written and verbal level
- Provide timely resolution to reported problems
Design
- Developing, Analysing, Designing, Testing and operating Wordpress/Woocommerce sites with understanding of user experience and interfaces
- Front-end development and create website layout by using standard HTML5/CSS3 ractices
- Responsible to understand the various plug ins that will improve productivity, design or overall performance of the sites
- Build landing pages, websites, prototypes and applications using the latest frontend technologies
Optimization
- Maintaining, expanding and scaling website to keep up with the latest available technology relatable to our industry
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/ industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Ensuring all work adheres to current industry best practice. But it doesn’t harm to break some rules while you’re at it
- Improvement to UI/UX of the site to create a flawless experience for our customers
Job Requirements
- First-class programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
- Familiarity across the following programming languages: PHP, JavaScript.
- Intermediate knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation process
- 5 years experience in Wordpress/Woocommerce, PHP programming, MySQL, HTML 5, CSS and Javascript Other platforms experiences have added advantage
Extensive knowledge and experience in building CMS websites
- Wordpress Development experience including theme and plugin development at code level
- Experience migrating older versions of Wordpress to Newer Versions
- Significant experience developing custom Wordpress themes and plug-ins.
- Wordpress administration and security
- Good understanding of cross platform and cross browser issues
- Familiar with payment gateway and set up issues
- Proficient in Wordpress and Woocommerce
- Experience in modifying Woocommerce plugins
- Experience with creating responsive and e-commerce website
- English (Written and spoken)
