Job Description

• To assist the Head of Department with the day-to-day Compliance & Risk Management responsibilities, including training and ad-hoc projects.
• To help establish, implement and continuously improve the Company's, policies, procedures, processes and controls. Also, to contribute towards ensuring that the Company's activities comply with all relevant laws, regulations and guidelines.
• To prepare and co-ordinate the submission of reports, within their stipulated time-lines.
• To assist the Head of Department in monitoring and reviewing the adequacy of the Company's Compliance and Risk Management procedures. Also, to recommend preventive and corrective actions, and if necessary, to escalate any non-compliant matters to the Management.
•  Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Ideally, a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Compliance and/or Risk Management in the Financial Industry
• Relevant experience in the Fund Management Industry will be considered
• Is sitting for or has plans to sit for the Securities Commission Examination Modules required for a Licensed Compliance Officer
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and to meet strict deadlines
• Possess a friendly personality, a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
