Job Description
This role involves delivering enterprise information technology support services for a newly set up Games Developement Studio. Under the direction of the IT Director, the successful candidate will function as the primary IT support personnel providing Tier 1&2 workstation and infrastructure support for the newly formed Malaysia office. The successful candidate will work with other supporting IT teams in the US and Japan to provide Tier 3 support.
As the Malaysia office is a new location, this role, in concert with IT engineering teams, will be key in developing the IT infrastructure and IT facilities requirements to support the office buildout, to include onsite datacenter and proper placing and testing of IDPs and infrastructure cabling to support multiple 10 GB network drops to the desktop. The successful candidate is expected to have experience in assessing and identifying the IT and technical requirements needed for a new office. The candidate will also be expected to have prior experience working with vendors, construction teams, & project management in ensuring that the site’s IT and technology needs are met.
