Job Description

1. Responsible for daily accounting operations (full set accounts) and to ensure compliance with company’s policies and statutory requirements.
2. Ensure proper and accurate month end closing and timely submission of monthly financial reports and assist in credit control, billing, collection, payments as well as assist in other accounting related works.
3. Prepare management reports and analysis.
4. Assist in cash flow management and liaise with bank officers on banking facilities matters.
5. Assist in annual budget preparation and monthly review and perform comparison and analysis between budget and actual.
6. Liaise with auditors, tax agent, company secretary for statutory audit and tax matters.
7. Support and coach finance executives.
8. Maintain productive communication with other departments.
9. Undertake any other ad-hoc assignment or duties assigned by the superior as and when required.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent and/or a professional accountancy qualification
   
   
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in full set accounting or 5 years in related field, preferably in the manufacturing, FMCG or food industry
   
   
3. Members of accounting bodies such as ACCA, MACPA, CIMA and CPA is an added advantage.
   
   
4. Team player, good in communication, high sense of responsibility and urgency with good interpersonal skills
   
   
5. Ability to work well under pressure, detail-oriented and employs a proactive approach to problem-solving
   
   
6. Well-versed with ERP Accounting Software System and Microsoft Excel
