THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Test Engineer, you will contribute to the continuous effort of delivering high-quality software products and specifically Alegion’s AI Training Data SaaS Platform. A key member of Alegion’s Software Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to impact everything from user-facing browser applications to the backend systems
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Test Engineer, you will contribute to the continuous effort of delivering high-quality software products and specifically Alegion’s AI Training Data SaaS Platform. A key member of Alegion’s Software Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to impact everything from user-facing browser applications to the backend systems
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Creating, executing, and maintaining test cases that ensure thorough testing of all features
- Conduct functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing
- Defect analysis, defect reporting and verify defect fixes
- Working with Product Management to understand requirements and user experience/interface changes, which will inform the testing you do
- Working with Engineering Developers to understand the implementation of work items, which will inform the testing you do
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for automating browser-based apps
- Participate in and contribute to testing process improvement efforts

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
- 1 to 2 years of testing experience on online web applications/mobile apps. Motivated Fresh Graduate will be considered
- Developer experience is welcome to switch role to test engineer
- Designing and developing test automation scripts
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience working in Agile development cycles
- Good understanding of business processes and requirements
- Good knowledge of software quality assurance and analytic skills
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of test automation framework is an added advantage
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of Selenium, Python Programming, RESTAPI, Jmeter is an added advantage
- Experience in performance testing is an added advantage
