About The Job

  • Plan and oversee business development activities to grow Asset Under Management (AUM) 
  • Organise and conduct talks/ presentations/ training, roadshows, events, interviews, webinars
  • Develop affiliations and relationships with institutions with large customer bases and AUM
  • Engage with strategic partners

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Finance/ Investment or marketing related fields
  • Experience in financial products would be an added advantage 
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in investment, financial planning or relevant fields 
  • Possesses good interpersonal, public speaking and presentation skills
  • Willing to travel nationwide and possesses own transport
  • Able to lead and manage a team of staff

Akru offers an online platform providing investment advice and management that’s much cheaper, speedier and with much better user experience than unit trusts or other platforms. Akru also offers financial literacy content and a personal dashboard to make better financial decisions.

Akru has obtained a conditional Digital Investment Management Licence issued by the Securities Commission. Upon obtaining a full license, we will launch a digital investment management platform. Through this, we will develop Akru to a brand name that represents investment management for ordinary folks.
