Job Description
You come up with effective, automated (whenever possible) test plans for new features, conduct testing, analyse the results, and give sound improvement suggestions. You also find and resolve bugs/glitches quickly and awesomely. This requires an analytical brain, critical thinking, structure, attention to detail, and a spidey sense for issues.
Job Requirements
Your most important characteristic is that you love sniffing out and solving problems. You take into consideration all scenarios in detail, and understand the chain effect of how one thing may affect multiple dependencies. Your job is to make sure AdEasy is as issue-free as possible for users to easily and effectively find the right ad space.
You are passionate about quality: razor-sharp in reviewing and analysing specifications, detecting bugs, conducting pre and post release testing, and working with the bigger team to continuously uphold the platform’s standards. Your success is measured in your accuracy and speed in troubleshooting issues, flawless execution of test cases, and ability to document well.
You’re good at:
- Software QA tools, processes, methodologies and techniques
- Agile frameworks and regression testing
- PHP, Laravel and MySQL
- Working well under pressure, and in a startup environment
Extra awesome if you’re:
- Knowledgeable in database design and web security technology
- Familiar with PHPUnit, Mockery, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, and jQuery
- Experienced in QA testing
