You take care of our content goals and strategy, tone guidelines, templates, schedules, keyword map, and measure our content effectiveness. These require an impeccable command of the English language, an organised and structured brain, a startup attitude, passion for brand building, attention to detail, creativity, and resourcefulness in coming up with interesting angles and topics.

Job Requirements

Your most important trait is to produce clear, concise, intuitive and relevant content for multiple touch points. AdEasy is not only a platform for booking offline ad space, it is also a place for people to learn about advertising. It is your job to ensure that when people think of offline advertising, AdEasy immediately comes to mind as the thought leader who can equip them with the knowledge to make informed decisions for their advertising needs.

You are first and foremost an excellent writer, editor and storyteller: stellar grammar, charming writing style, and have the ability to explain things simply. Success is measured by the timely execution of quality content, the number of potential users who interact with us because our content “spoke” to them, the growing number of social media followers and active website users, and how increasingly busy we are responding to an expanding community of engaged users.

You’re good at:

Crafting SEO optimised content
Combining words and visuals to tell compelling stories
Bringing fresh perspectives, and exploring content beyond the norm, like educational videos and infographics
Microsoft Office and Google office suite

Extra awesome if you’re:

Knowledgeable about the basics of digital marketing—email marketing, automation and drip campaigns—and have a strong interest in how it works "under the hood"
Familiar with ATL, BTL, and PR
Experienced in content marketing

What’s a typical day like in the marketing team:

11am MORNING ROUTINE

The day usually starts with clearing emails, checking on-going marketing activities’ progress and results, and reviewing what needs to be done for the day. It’s not unusual to load up on caffeine during this time.

2pm MONTHLY POWWOW

We have our team meeting every third Monday of the month. This is when we review the previous month’s marketing results, and align our marketing plans for the following month. We also discuss, catch-up and decide on pending issues, learnings, and so on.

3pm BRAINSTORMING

We come together as a team—the mad (wo)men aka the content/creative folks and the math (wo)men aka the analytics/performance folks—a few times a week and combine our talents to ideate and create campaigns, activities, anything that will pull users in from all relevant platforms.
