Job Description
Summary:
Involved in developing marketing campaigns to promote a service, product, event or campaign including planning, organising events, sponsorship, advertising, public relations and research. The focus can be on selling a product, a service or raising awareness of an issue that affects the public. The role are not only involving conventional marketing coverage but also span across digital & online platforms.
He/she will need to be analytics & come up with appropriate courses of action, produce written and multimedia, manage sales & promotional materials.
Marketing/Advertising:
- Preparing and delivering marketing plans within key objectives set by Management. Scope of works is not limited to following;
- Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns
- Work closely with sales team to conduct research and analysing data to identify and define target market & audiences
- Devising and presenting marketing ideas and strategies.
- Generating and executing marketing campaigns across social media platforms such as Linked In, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and many more.
- Generating reports for digital marketing campaigns using data based analytics tools and also presenting this data in an easy to understand format
- Sourcing advertising opportunities and liaising with media agencies placing the adverts in the press, radio , TV or through online platform as appropriate to the product or service
- Liaising with Design Agencies, Printers and Publishers as required and managing the production of marketing materials such as leaflets, flyers, posters and newsletters, including e-newsletters and DVDs
- Monitoring competitor activity and generating leads for products and services.
- Involving key stakeholders for product at each stage of campaign, and reporting to Management results once completed.
Event
- To liaise with various coordinators to maximise visibility at conferences, receptions and exhibitions, including compiling product and literature lists to display or demonstrate the 1CS product & services.
- Attending key conferences to manage booth etc.
- Conduction customer interviews/review and focus group(s) from time to time when needed
PR
- Devise creative public relations strategies that fit company profile
- Develop effective PR plans using appropriate strategies and tactics
- Organize and coordinate PR activities
- Use a variety of channels (TV, press, internet etc.) to maximize company exposure
- Liaise with key Stakeholders to ensure consistency in promoting corporate image
- Arrange for interviews or public speaking events and construct press releases
- Advise company on handling sensitive public issues to preserve reputation
- Assess opportunities for sponsorships and other partnerships and manage relations
- Analyse results of PR campaigns or efforts and prepare reports
Product: - ( Commission/Incentive- will be given if meet the KPI )
- Develops products by identifying potential products; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction; developing marketing strategies.
- Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
- Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
- Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
- Obtains product market share by working with sales director to develop product sales strategies.
- Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
- Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
- Facilitates inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules.
- Brings new products to market by analysing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
- Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
- Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Maintains product management staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains product management staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Training
- Assisting on creating training & presentation materials
- Proof reading on all materials before go on live.
- Key coordinator on drafting out the table setup & seat arrangement before training date(s).
- Preparing trainee checklist and coordinating the trainee registration
- Prepare / setup the presentation & electronic equipment before each training session start.
*Also, to perform any ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
