Job Description
A desktop publishing artist or artworker is a desktop publishing worker, responsible for translating the work of art directors and graphic designers into digital files ready to go to print or be placed online. A DTP operator is usually skilled in multiple computer design applications, such as Adobe CS.

- Responsible for any artwork enquire
- Artwork retouching, resizing, adaptation and file checking
- Be able to communicate with client on their artwork issue in a professional manner and making corrections if necessary
- Carefully follow up the whole client order process from checking artwork to complete the print ready file for production to print
- Create FA layouts/design artworks upon clients' request using Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- Be able to carry out photo retouch & colour correction of artwork images using Photoshop.
- Provide quality checks to maintain smooth flow of production jobs.
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1 or 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Artwork experience or anything similar role in any printing industries
- Design experience is a bonus
- Skills on Adobe and MS office
- Good team player with the ability to work independently
- Good understanding of the printing guideline to suits different products in terms of visual and safety aspects
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia & English
