Job Description

If the last thing on your mind last night was an advertising campaign that you liked and the first thing on your mind waking up this morning was how you would have done it better, You’re HIRED!

  • Help develop and review creative briefs that provide strategic insight and creative inspiration
  • Support the Executive Creative Director and work with ACD, Art to produce standout and strategically focused tactics, concepts and campaigns from ideation to production. 
  • Champion the brand and help craft/develop a unified brand voice
  • Recommend new formats and storytelling tools to leverage
  • Take on appropriate projects and own them, start to finish
  • Manage and work independently, under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects
  • Participate in client meetings
  • Lead concept presentations
  • Manage workloads to maximize productivity of the copy team, ensuring that everyone is busy and billable
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure that deadlines and budgets are met
  • Develop good relationships with your clients
  • Work with account management to grow our business of existing clients
  • Work towards address performance, workflow, and quality issues and develop long-range plans for the content group
  • Lead the creative and content teams in development of concepts and execution of all projects
  • Assure that all copywriters are trained and, where needed, mentored to maintain the standards and expectations of the agency and the client, and to meet their own career goals
  • Demonstrate to clients that you understand their products and marketing challenges and are responsive to the strategic and creative needs
  • Study the creative marketplace and also understand the client’s competitors creative work 
  • Study clients industries and their competitors.

Job Requirements

  • Deep understanding of advertising fundamentals.
  • Agency experience. 10 years in the game.
  • Looking to lead your own team of young talented copywriters.
  • Able to think strategic and apply within the creative deliverables.
  • Digital media savvy. Well aware of the current/trending platforms and is geared to use to your advantage.
