The Electrical designs and calculations are carried out in accordance to the Malaysian and International codes of practice as per the project requirements. 

Justin Sim, founder of North Consult Engineering graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) has spent more than 10 years working in Australia who recently returned back to Malaysia in 2017 to further develop his career. He has extensive experienced on electrical engineering with a vision to provide electrical and power engineering design and detail engineering services. Having a professional experience in the areas of HV/LV electrical system design for Power plants, power system study including steady state and dynamic analysis for utility network up to 275kV system, substation design, earthing and lightning protection system, DC supply system, street lighting and small power design, industries related to all power equipment’s 33/11kV Switchyard, Transformers, PCC, MCC, Control Panels, cables etc..

He has developed his capability in the Solar Energy sector and specializing on the power system analysis on the Large-Scale Solar PV plant by using Siemen PTI PSS®E, ETAP and DigSilent Powerfactory engineering software. He has also developed additional skill on the solar power system by using the PVSyst software to analyse the total energy production for the PV system’s profitability, performance ratio and the specific energy based on the irradiation.

He has recently completed the power system study for more than eight (8) large-scale solar plant located around West Malaysia during LSS cycle 1 and cycle 2. He has also completed the dynamic simulation model validation for the solar plant during commissioning stage.
